Tracked Dumper Operator Location: Carlisle Rate: £23 per hour (CIS) (Dependent on experience/site type) Start Date: Immediate Duration: 1 month The Role: We are looking for a specialist Tracked Dumper Operator (Morooka/Crawler) to support a high-profile civil engineering project in the Carlisle area. Due to the challenging terrain and the environmental sensitivity of the sites (often involving river works or utility corridors), we require an operative with a high level of precision and "soft ground" experience. This is a great opportunity to secure a solid run of work with a Tier 1 or leading regional contractor on key infrastructure frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Specialist Plant Operation: Safe and efficient operation of tracked dumpers in marshy, soft, or uneven terrain to minimize ground damage. Environmental Protection: Working closely with site teams to manage muck-away and material transport near watercourses and sensitive habitats. Utility Support: Assisting with backfilling and aggregate supply for deep drainage and utility trenching. Maintenance: Performing daily plant inspections and maintaining a clean, operational machine in line with site safety standards.
