Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a high performing organisation serving Hackney, East London, and beyond. The role supports the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain, leading and managing operational aspects of the team.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations of the procurement team, ensuring smooth functioning and proactive issue resolution.
* Engage with key stakeholders across the Trust and the wider North East London Integrated Care System to ensure commercial processes, resources, and systems are fit for purpose.
* Design and implement new processes to support procurement and supply chain functions, including contract register, structured savings plan, procurement work plan, and standardisation plan.
* Maintain a customer‑focused ethic with end users and external suppliers.
* Collaborate with NEL PP and NEL Integrated Care System partners to realise efficiencies, improve working relationships, and deliver cash‑releasing savings.
* Support supplier rationalisation and focus on continuous improvement and cost savings.
