Job Overview
Due to growth and continued success, we are seeking a skilled Non-destructive Testing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting tests on materials and structures to identify defects without causing any damage. Your expertise will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
* Perform various non-destructive tests (NDT) such as DPI, MPI, Visual and radiographic testing to evaluate the integrity of materials and components.
* Analyse test results and document findings accurately, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address any identified issues and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain testing equipment and ensure it is calibrated according to established procedures.
* Prepare detailed reports on testing procedures, results, and recommendations for further action.
* Stay updated on advancements in NDT techniques and technologies to enhance testing processes.
Skills
* Strong quality assurance skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards are met.
* Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex data and make informed decisions based on test results.
* Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations pertaining to nondestructive testing.
* Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting findings clearly.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
