Be part of the luxury guest experience at InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa as a Housekeeping Attendant. You’ll ensure every guest room and public area is pristine, comfortable, and welcoming. This role suits individuals with an eye for detail, excellent time management, and pride in keeping standards consistently high.
Responsibility
* Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms thoroughly
* Replenish amenities, towels, and linens as per resort standards
* Follow safety and chemical handling procedures
* Handle special housekeeping requests from VIP guests
* Report maintenance issues or lost items to supervisors
* Ensure guest privacy and professionalism at all times
* Maintain public areas, corridors, and utility stations
Experience and Qualifications
* Proven experience in housekeeping, custodial, or cleaning roles (hospitality experience preferred)
* Personalized, attentive guest service, focused on satisfaction, including handling VIPs and special requests
* Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
* Effective collaboration and flexibility for diverse working hours, including weekends and holidays
* Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality and professionalism in appearance and demeanor
* Good communication and passionate about customer service. Good command over written & spoken English; additional languages are an asset
* Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
* Effective time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
