Salary: Up to £19.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
Overview
We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our team in the Physiotherapy department, supporting both inpatient and day‑case services. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, and you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties Of This Role Include
* Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post‑surgical conditions (dependent on setting).
* Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
* Use a range of therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration.
* Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning as appropriate.
* Refer patients to other services where required (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation).
* Manage your own caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification).
* HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
* Strong understanding of clinical reasoning, assessment techniques, and evidence‑based practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
