Overview
An enthusiastic, well-motivated and competent Paediatric Audiologist is sought to join the Paediatric Audiology service at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust on a permanent basis. The Paediatric Audiology service provides second and third tier services to children and young people in the West Hertfordshire area. Clinics are held at Watford, St. Albans and Hemel Hempstead; the post holder will cover clinics at all three sites as needed. A full valid driving licence with access to a car for business use is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

Responsibilities
* Lead children’s hearing assessment clinics
* Provide hearing aid management to children of all ages
* Communicate effectively with service users and other members of the team
* Engage in peer reviews
* Engage in audits and clinical governance tasks to support continuous service improvement
* Assist the Audiology Service Lead in day-to-day management of the service
* Take on operational responsibilities (with guidance) within the department
Requirements
* Full valid driving licence with access to a car for business use (unless disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
* Ability to cover clinics at three sites (Watford, St. Albans, Hemel Hempstead) as needed
