Working alongside the Registered Manager, you'll lead and motivate a team of passionate Residential Support Workers, making sure the highest standards of care are provided every single day.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading, guiding, and inspiring staff to deliver excellent, child-centred care.
* Supporting and developing staff through supervisions, training, and day-to-day guidance.
* Ensuring care plans truly reflect each child's needs, interests, and strengths.
* Encouraging children to take part in activities that build their confidence, skills, and aspirations.
* Listening to children's voices and using their feedback to shape their care experience.
* Working closely with the Registered Manager, professionals, and families to achieve the best outcomes for every child.
* Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
What We're Looking For
* Significant experience in a residential childcare setting.
* A natural leader with strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and guide others.
* Completed Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (essential).
* A solid understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and safeguarding.
* Resilience, patience, and a reflective approach to care and leadership.
* Flexibility to occasionally cover shifts when needed.
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable.
