Primary Mainstream Teacher – Year 1 (KS1) - Weymouth, Dorset

Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the KS1 national curriculum.
Create a warm, inclusive classroom that encourages curiosity and independence.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, tailoring teaching to meet individual needs.
Work closely with support staff and parents to ensure consistent development.
Foster positive behaviour and a supportive classroom culture.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
Passion for early learning, with a creative and adaptable approach.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
