Leek Wootton Permanent Full Time £40,383.00 - £42,612.00 To provide a single point of contact with academic HEI, co-ordinate and manage workplace rotations and multiple attachments of Student Officers to support delivery of varied Police Constable Entry Routes (PCER) entry programmes. Main Responsibilities To foster and develop positive working relationships, developing a consistent approach across Warwickshire Police with all key stakeholders in managing, supporting and developing the performance of new entrants into policing. To work collaboratively with operational Police Managers and external HEI academic coaches to monitor and ensure the right level of support, training and development opportunities are made available to probationary constables and operational tutors/coaches. To plan manage and chair regular tri-partite progress meetings with HEI academic and operational workplace coaches and bi-partite meetings internally to monitor the progress and performance of Student Officers, putting measures in place to manage any underperformance identified. To be a point of contact for and provide pastoral support for Student Officers within workplace rotations and operational attachments, negotiating, agreeing and managing any supportive measures required with academic coaches and operational policing managers. To provide professional, consistent advice and guidance to workplace coaches in respect of learning and assessment processes. To perform a pivotal role in the analysis of workplace performance documentation submitted by a number of different coaches and line managers. Deliver feedback to workplace coaches and assessment team Inspector to ensure standardisation of decision making against agreed performance criteria. Monitor and capture any organisational learning in respect of the delivery PECR Work Placement Manager October 2025of PCER initial learning programmes within the workplace, reporting into the L&D manager, HR and operational managers. Following bi-partite and tri-partite meetings, complete and submit performance review reports with options and recommendations to L&D training managers, HR Advisors and operational managers in respect of Student Officer development. Maintain accurate records of candidates’ progress, ensuring organisation compliance with ESFA9Education and Skills Funding Agency). To undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required.
