Claims Handler - Motor Injury Handler – salary negotiable depending on hours worked and experience Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Do you enjoy speaking directly with customers, listening carefully, and uncovering the facts? Are you confident negotiating with solicitors and brokers, making fair decisions, and challenging the status quo? If so, this could be the perfect role for you. This role would suit someone with experience in claims management, particularly in Motor Claims or someone ready to take the next step in their insurance career. It’s ideal for those who are confident communicators, comfortable managing a varied caseload, and excited to work collaboratively in a supportive team. A bit about the job: You’ll be joining our market-leading Claims division, handling Motor Claims with efficiency and empathy. Your role will involve investigating claims, making accurate liability decisions, and delivering excellent service to our customers, brokers, and solicitors. You’ll take ownership of your caseload, prioritizing effectively to meet changing demands and ensure timely resolutions. Location - Maxim Park, Motherwell Skills and experience we’re looking for: Experience handling motor claims or working in a similar insurance environment is a strong asset, but not essential. Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written Ability to analyse information and make sound decisions Comfortable working independently and managing your own caseload Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting Flexible Shift pattern between 7am- 7pm Monday – Friday We support smart working, so once you’ve successfully completed your training and are fully prepared, this role will transition to a hybrid model where you will spend 50% of your time in the office and the remaining 50% working from home. We offer flexible working hours with our standard 35-hour full-time contracts, and options for part-time working.
