Job Title: Drama Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location:

East of England, Norfolk, Merton

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work full-time hours

Salary:

£95 - £120 per day

Benefits:

Job Duties:

1. Assist drama teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
2. Support students in their learning and development of drama skills
3. Help with the organisation of drama productions and events
4. Provide feedback and encouragement to students to enhance their performance
5. Assist in the preparation of resources and materials for drama activities
6. Supervise students during drama classes and rehearsals

Required Qualifications:

7. Recent graduate with a degree in Drama or a related field
8. Experience working with children or young adults
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. Passion for drama and performing arts

Education:

Degree in Drama or a related field

Experience:

Experience working with children or young adults

Knowledge and Skills:

11. Understanding of drama techniques and practises
12. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students
13. Good organisational and time management skills
14. Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

15. Teaching assistant experience in an educational setting
16. Additional qualifications in education or drama

Working Conditions:

17. Work in a school environment
18. Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments for events
19. Collaborative work with teaching staff and students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
