What You Will Be Doing
Staff RF Design Engineers are responsible for:
* Supporting the development and production of complex multi-function modules in all phases of the product life cycle.
* Working on complex technical problems and providing innovative solutions.
* Designing and developing circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full rate production.
* Acting independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the implementation of operational products.
* Mentoring less experienced engineers on the team.
* Collaborating with hardware, systems, and circuit design engineers as well as technical and manufacturing support personnel.
* Working with technical and manufacturing support personnel to ensure successful product development and production.

Further Information About This Opportunity
This position is in Chelmsford, Massachusetts — located approximately 30 miles northwest of Boston. Chelmsford embodies New England charm and is near historic Lowell, Massachusetts and Nashua, New Hampshire, offering a blend of colonial history, schools, shopping, and dining options.
This position can also be based in Orlando, FL or Dallas, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications
* Post Secondary STEM degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
* Experience designing active RF modules, circuits or systems.
* Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues for RF applications.
* Experience with the use of RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain at least an Interim Secret Clearance before starting the position, therefore you must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, with a minimum of 9 years of relevant professional engineering experience or 7 years with a related Masters degree.
* Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
* Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry, including RF system architecture development.
* Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware (antennas, transmitters, receivers, exciters, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, modul es, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation and conversion circuits).
* Prior RF design experience and microwave simulation tool usage.
* Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
* Strong technical documentation skills and experience with specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.
* Experience testing microwave products at the RF circuit card assembly or module level and with customer interfacing.
* Hands-on hardware experience and familiarity with production environments.
* Ability to lead failure investigations and work in a collaborative production and engineering environment.
