Eaton Syalon are working exclusively with a business located close to Measham, South Derbyshire. We're looking for a talented Accounts Assistant to join our clients Finance team on a permanent basis. You will support financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency and will work closely with other team members to maintain financial records, prepare reports, and assist with month and year end processes. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports • Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase, sales and cash ledgers • Process invoices, payments, expenses and receipts • Process supplier and expense payment runs • Balance Sheet reconciliations • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies • Support year-end audit processes • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies Person Profile: • AAT qualification or qualified by experience • Previous experience in an accounting role • Proficiency in Sage (desirable) and Microsoft Excel • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills This role is on-site based and due to the location requires candidates to be able to drive. Public transport links aren't well connected so please only apply if you hold a full UK driving licence.
