Position: Sales Advisor (16 hours per week)

Job Purpose
Deliver exceptional customer service, promote Samsonite products and maximize sales while maintaining a welcoming store environment.
Responsibilities
* Offer customers exceptional service, projecting a positive image of Samsonite at all times.
* Maintain a tidy, well presented store and high standards in all areas.
* Offer advice on and demonstrate Samsonite products to ensure a friendly shopping experience.
* Introduce selling benefits and features of the merchandise range.
* Maximise sales through detailed product knowledge and add‑on sales.
* Be knowledgeable about store layout, products and stock availability.
* Deal with customers in a cheerful, polite and efficient manner, catering to their needs.
* Handle customer complaints and phone queries tactfully in line with Company Policy.
* Process transactions efficiently and professionally, always adhering to Company Procedures.
* Maintain awareness of sales promotions, incentives and product brochures.
* Track all sales figures, targets and commission on a daily/weekly basis.
* Process deliveries and handle any discrepancies promptly.
* Ensure backup stock and stockrooms are kept in order.
* Assist in layouts and maintenance of merchandising and internal displays.
* Read and act on relevant Head Office communication.
* Assist in stock counts as directed by the Store Manager.
* Act on security issues, reporting to Management and remain vigilant with stock and money.
* Maintain high standards and daily cleaning of the branch, fixtures and fittings.
* Handle telephone enquiries politely and communicate all messages to Head Office.
* Open and close the store following Company Procedures.
* Carry out stock and personnel administration as directed by Management.
* Report for work 10 minutes before the shift start, contact the store if absent or late, and maintain attendance policy.
* Attend training courses as directed by the Store Manager.
* Maintain a well groomed, neat and tidy appearance in line with Company Dress Policy.
* Ensure accidents or potential hazards are reported promptly and understand Health and Safety Manual and fire safety procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
* Constant standing, bending, and frequent lifting of luggage up to 15 kilos.
* Computer literate.
* Previous experience in retail.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Team player and motivator.
* Target driven.
* Brand sensibility.
* Good command of English.
* Flexibility.
