A well-established fire and security company is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join its Brighton-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive, team-oriented environment, delivering high-quality maintenance, reactive and remedial services across a diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned maintenance, fault finding, and remedial works in line with British Standards.
* Communicate clearly with customers regarding service outcomes and next steps.
* Manage van stock to maximise first-time fixes.
* Complete documentation accurately and professionally.
* Support junior engineers and collaborate with colleagues.
* Respond to emergency call-outs and participate in the on-call rota.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in fire and security service engineering.
* Strong understanding of BS5839, SP203, SSAIB standards.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points).
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one).
