The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Solicitor with a strong background in handling complex agricultural legal matters. In this role, you will manage a varied caseload, deliver expert legal advice, and provide tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients. Your ability to navigate intricate legal frameworks, coupled with strategic problem-solving skills, will be key to helping our clients achieve their objectives.
* At least 3+ years PQE with solid experience in agricultural law
* Advising on Farm Business Tenancies, Agricultural Holdings Act Tenancies, and Grazing Licenses
* Handling the sale and purchase of agricultural property and businesses
* Acting for lenders on security and funding matters
* Drafting and advising on development agreements such as options, easements, and overage/clawback agreements
* Providing excellent client service and understanding the needs of rural and farming clients
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships to generate repeat work
* Managing files efficiently using case management and time recording systems
* Complying with professional practice rules and regulatory standards
* Supporting marketing and business development activities
* Taking part in ongoing training and professional development
