Are you a dynamic and imaginative educator with a passion for performance? A vibrant secondary school near Norwich is seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join their creative arts department and inspire students to shine on stage and beyond. Beginning ASAP.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver exciting, well-structured lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
* Direct school productions, performances and drama clubs, fostering a love of theatre and performance.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback and maintaining accurate records.
* Create a safe, positive and inspiring classroom environment where all students can participate fully.
* Collaborate with colleagues to design schemes of work and integrate drama into whole-school initiatives.
* Organise and accompany students on theatre trips, workshops and enrichment activities.
* Attend staff meetings, training sessions and school events as required.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and practical experience in Drama and performing arts.
* Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities, building their confidence and creativity.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Drama Teacher.
