As a Podiatrist you will be responsible for the management and treatment of a caseload of patients across a variety of locations within the Torbay and South Devon area, providing a comprehensive assessment of podiatric need, relevant health education, planned podiatric care packages and referral to other health care professionals as required.
Responsibilities
* Manage and treat a caseload of patients across multiple locations within Torbay and South Devon.
* Conduct comprehensive assessment of podiatric needs, provide health education, and develop planned podiatric care packages.
* Refer patients to other health care professionals as required.
* Provide high standards of treatment and professionalism, and continue to develop a multi‑disciplinary approach to patient care.
* Travel around Torbay and South Devon to undertake home visits and deliver high‑quality care.
Team and settings
Work closely with other community health care workers and provider agencies across a variety of care settings including:
* Community clinics
* Domiciliary work (home visits)
* Care homes
* Contribute to the development of the podiatry team
Qualifications & Requirements
Band 5 level is required for this role.
Team composition
Our department consists of 45 clinical staff, including Head of Service, Advanced Practitioner, Team Leads, Specialist podiatrists, podiatrists, assistant practitioners and clinical support staff, along with 8 administrative staff.
