Your Role as a KS2 Primary Class Teacher: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of KS2 students with SEN. Use a range of teaching strategies to engage students with various learning styles, ensuring they make progress in all areas of their education. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and encouraged to do their best. Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and other staff to provide a holistic approach to supporting students’ learning and development. Track and monitor student progress through regular assessments and adjust teaching methods to meet their needs. Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to each child’s learning journey. Promote students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development, creating a safe and supportive space for them to flourish. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary education specialism preferred. ✅ Experience teaching KS2 students, ideally with SEN experience. ✅ A patient, compassionate, and adaptable teaching approach. ✅ Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching, SEN best practices, and effective classroom management strategies. ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with a range of staff and external professionals. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
