Job Title: Credit Hire Handler\n\nLocation: Liverpool or Sevenoaks with hybrid working available\n\nSalary: Between £29,133 and £34,047 plus potential annual bonus of up to £2000 paid quarterly\n\nJob Type: Permanent, Full Time\n\nHours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm\n\nWhat you will be doing:\n\nValidating all motor claims across the mitigation team for indemnity and fraud\nAccurately assessing liability whilst utilising all available evidence and tools\nYou will contact all potential Claimants or Representatives in a timely manner to establish our exposure to ongoing hire, ensuring that key information is obtained and updated on the claim file\nIdentifying cases where intervening on vehicle losses will reduce our overall exposure, utilising resource of specialist inhouse motor engineers\nEnsuring indemnity spend is minimized by commercial decision making\nProactive diary management to monitor and progress live hire cases\nAccurate quantum assessment of claims presented using the relevant tools available to assist\nApplying accurate reserves in line with company guidelines\nAny other Ad hoc task as the needs of the business dictateWhat we're looking for:\n\nA persuasive, confident and strong communicator with effective negotiation skills\nAbility to use own initiative to explore all options to achieve the best outcome for the business\nGood understanding of Insurer RTA obligations, credit hire, existing credit hire case law, legal precedent and procedure\nMotivated self-starter with the ability to work as part of a teamAbout Acorn Insurance:\n\nWith over 40 years of experience, Acorn Insurance is a specialist provider dedicated to helping individuals secure motor insurance across the UK.
