The role is based in schools across the Rotherham area, covering the S65 and S66 postcodes. In this role, the Art Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons across a variety of artistic techniques and media. You will encourage students to express themselves creatively while developing practical skills and an appreciation for art. Key Responsibilities: Deliver well-structured art lessons aligned with the curriculum. Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider school objectives. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as an Art Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
