Maintenance Engineer on Days Monday to Friday with our client who manufacture building materials across UK & Ireland

Providing maintenance support for the plant you will help ensure production runs smoothly, equipment is maintained to a high standard and downtime is minimal
Suitable candidates will need to be Level 3 time served Mechanical/ Electrical with maintenance experience on production equipment in a manufacturing setting
The Role
Preventative and reactive maintenance on plant production equipment
Fault finding and troubleshoot problems, carry out repairs quickly
Work closely with production teams to enhance reliability, safety and equipment OEE
Welding and Fabrication work
Mechanical fitting, installation, refurb and improvements on machinery
Routine inspections on equipment
Ensure all plant equipment is operationally safe
Record maintenance activities and document key info for health, safety, environmental and quality
Work in line with Health & Safety
What we are looking for
Level 3 apprenticeship Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar
Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Experience with welding and fabrication
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
Working knowledge of PLC control systems
