Overview Of The Role
Owning to the continued expansion within our built environment sector, we have an exciting opportunity for Project Managers to join our growing and diverse Buildings team to be based in one of our Regional Offices. This role offers the chance to be involved in some of our most complex and challenging projects and major programmes.
Responsibilities
* Lead project delivery through the RIBA Stages, integrating multidisciplinary teams.
* Manage projects across a diverse client base, including Central Government, Local Authority and the Private Sector.
* Drive social outcomes by collaborating with stakeholders to maximise environmental, social and economic benefits for communities.
* Work on a portfolio of public and private sector programmes, many offering long‑term career development.
Essential Qualifications
* Alignment with Mott MacDonald PRIDE values.
* Relevant project management experience in the Buildings sector.
* Knowledge and application of pre‑ and post‑contract project management and contract management methodologies.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team.
* Chartered professional: MAPM / MRICS / MCIOB.
Desirable Qualifications
* Relationship building skills and ability to maintain networks of business contacts.
* Willingness to mentor and coach junior team members to support career progression and chartership.
* Excellent oral and written communication and organisational skills.
* Soft skills: self‑motivation, initiative, leadership, adaptability, flexibility, effective listening, collaboration, influence and persuasion, insightfulness.
* Drive to innovate and implement best practice.
