This schoolis seeking a motivated and capable General Science Teacher to join their Science department on a 1-term contract for the Autumn Term 2025. This role is ideal for a passionate educator looking to make a meaningful short-term contribution to student learning.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
* Teach General Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
* Mark and assess student work, providing timely and constructive feedback.
* Track pupil progress and contribute to intervention strategies where necessary.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and participation in the classroom.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity in teaching and learning.
Ideal General Science Teacher:
* A qualified teacher (QTS required) with strong subject knowledge across the Science disciplines.
* A confident and adaptable practitioner, capable of quickly integrating into a new team.
