Role Overview
We’re looking for a committed and motivated person to provide effective administrative support to Children’s Social Care Services by working as part of a team and contributing to excellent service delivery and achievement of service objectives.
Responsibilities
* Type and produce presentations and to format existing presentations.
* Produce information in different formats, including letters, reports, charts, maps and tables, and undertake mail-merges, using branded templates where applicable.
* Enter data into systems, including checks for completeness and correctness of information before inputting.
* Design straightforward spreadsheets including the inputting of basic formulae.
* Manipulate data within systems and run reports (including exception reports), analyse and correct errors as appropriate.
* Maintain effective and efficient office and information systems, including compliance with external requirements where necessary.
* Undertake filing, both paper and computerised, and coordinate the archiving of documents and information according to the Council’s Data Retention Policy.
Qualifications
* Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
* Experience of providing a high standard of customer service.
* Experience of ordering goods and services and undertaking financial tasks.
* Flexibility and ability to work at pace with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulations.
