We are seeking versatile, resilient, and committed Teaching Assistants who can adapt their practice across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher, assisting children with their work, supporting pupil behaviour, establishing good relationships, acting as a role model, and responding to individual needs.

Talocher School offers a broad and flexible curriculum tailored to each learner's interests, aiming to help them achieve their best outcomes. Learning occurs both inside and outside the classroom, incorporating real-world experiences. Additional vocational opportunities include agriculture, construction, forest schools, horticulture, and outdoor education, supporting pupils with SEMH or ASC needs.
We provide a range of outdoor and offsite activities, such as animal care, catering, forest skills, BTEC PSD, LANTRA forklift training L1, rural tractor driving certificates L1, CSCS card prep, canine care L1, bicycle repair L1, construction skills L1, food safety, and woodworking, among others.
