Salary: OHCAT Business Support, Outer London, Grade E, point 22 - Grade F, point 27, (£32,530.00 - £36,041.00 FTE), Actual Salary: £ 29,284.05 - £32,444.71
Location: Dysart School, 190 Ewell Road, KT6 6HL
Working Pattern: 36 Hours per week, Term time plus 2 weeks per year
Dysart School is an Outstanding special school in Kingston, providing education for pupils aged 4 to 19 with a range of severe and complex learning difficulties.
To help meet the growing demand for high-quality SEN provision in the borough, Dysart also operates three satellite sites located alongside local mainstream schools - creating inclusive opportunities and expanding access to specialist support.
Its main site, located in Surbiton, is bright and well equipped to support the development of its pupils including Early Years classrooms with outdoor learning spaces, a dedicated post-16 hub, accessible swimming pool, sensory room, soft play and adventure play areas and generous grounds equipped for play and outdoor learning.

We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Recruitment Co-ordinator who will not only showcase the amazing work taking place at our school but also play a pivotal role in attracting and recruiting talented staff. This is an exciting opportunity to tell our story, strengthen our connection with the local community and ensure we bring the best people into our team. You will drive creating engaging content, managing campaigns and developing strategies that highlight our values and achievements while supporting the full recruitment process from promotion to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
•As the school’s marketing and communications lead, liaising and working collaboratively with the OHC&AT Marketing Team to ensure consistent branding and messaging including press releases.
•Maintain day-to-day updates for the school website, with technical/branding support from the OHC&AT team.
•Manage the school’s social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook), creating engaging and accessible content that reflects school life.
•Draft and advertise staff vacancies in line with OHCAT policies, liaising with OHC&AT HR/marketing as required.
•Support recruitment processes including coordination of interview schedules, communication with candidates and preparation of candidate packs.
Key Requirements:
•GCSE grade A* – C English and Maths (prior to 2014) Reformed GCSE grading system, grade 9 (highest) to 4 (since 2014) or equivalent
•Computer literate – must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Email systems.
•Proven track record and experience in marketing, communications or directly related role.
•Experience creating engaging content across multiple channels (social media, website, newsletters)
•Experience supporting events, campaigns, or recruitment activities
