Responsibilities
* Working with the Store Manager, share joint responsibility for the day to day running of the store
* Work up to 45 hours per week; all extra time worked is paid or can be taken as time off in lieu
* Lead by example, co-managing a small team of 4-6 staff
* Motivate the team to deliver a great customer experience and achieve challenging sales targets
* Build rapport with customers by offering honest advice, exceeding expectations, and guiding them when they are overwhelmed by options
What Youll Need - Skills And Experience
* Proven experience in a retail customer service oriented or sales environment
* Supervisory or junior management experience within a retail or field sales position, ideally in a hard goods environment
* Practical knowledge of some or all of the product range
* Proven ability to sell product range and deliver excellent customer service
* Proven experience in achieving sales targets
* Confident, enthusiastic team player
* Accurate numeracy and basic computer literacy
* High self-motivation and can-do attitude
* Desire to succeed both individually and as a co-leader of the team
