Job Purpose
Develop, execute and maintain a comprehensive sourcing strategy capable of delivering best in class SQDC results for assigned scope at the global level. Provide guidelines and consultancy for regional execution of non-globally managed sourcing needs. Provide tools and guidance for sourcing team members to develop, execute and sustain specific supply chain strategies within the scope. Identify opportunities and suppliers that can provide materials which result in a clearly identifiable advantage in functionality, price, quality, delivery reliability, logistics, business-to-business integration, currencies and/or reduced total cost.
Job Description
The role takes direction from the Sourcing & Procurement Director of Value streams and Manufacturing to execute assigned work. The role provides general guidance and ensures policy adherence to Sourcing Teams and Procurement Teams. Must use sound planning and good judgment to manage resources and meet goals. Must have ability to make sound business decisions based on data and analysis. Must be able to provide guidance and motivation to reports and build effective relationships with peers.
You are meant for this job if:
Master's Degree in Business Administration Supply Chain, Project management and Engineering is preferred.
Formal education can be replaced by long term work experience.
Experience in Global Sourcing environment
Proficient with understanding and application of LEAN Methodologies
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
Working in a matrix environment across Value Streams and Business Units
An analytical mind with a strategic ability towards problem solving
