This role offers a great opportunity to work with a dedicated team. The primary responsibilities of an Accounting Technician include maintaining financial records, preparing VAT returns, and compiling Financial Accounts.

Responsibilities
1. Perform general office duties
2. Record financial transactions accurately
3. Handle accounts payable and receivable
4. Code invoices appropriately for Xero, QuickBooks, and SAGE software
5. Record cash receipts and manage bank deposits
6. Maintain petty cash
7. Provide administrative and clerical support as needed
8. Undertake additional bookkeeping duties as assigned by management
9. Prepare Income and Expenditure Statements
10. Prepare profit and loss statements and balance sheets
11. File historical records and retrieve necessary documents for colleagues
Candidate Profile
* AAT qualified and progressing towards ACCA or ACA, or QBE
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Strong customer care skills
* Excellent prioritization and time management abilities
* Organized work approach to meet strict deadlines, including planning, diary management, and system maintenance
* Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
