Car Parts Sales Advisor Required in Guildford, Surrey
1. Pay: Starting salary £30,000 + Bonuses
2. Hours: Monday - Friday + Saturday mornings on a rota
We are currently working with a well-established and well oiled Motor Trade Parts Business who due to expansion are currently looking for an additional Parts Sales Advisor to join our clients Automotive Parts Business to support their customers Vehicle Parts needs.
The ideal Parts Sales Advisor will have two years minimum automotive parts experience; preferably from a retail dealership front and back counter environment or a trade parts centre, our client will be happy to consider other parts advisors from other departments of the Automotive industry.
Our client works direct with the manufacturers and trade accounts. Our clients focus is accident repair parts and the ideal Parts Sales Advisor will have experience and knowledge of the fast paced accident repair and dealership sector.
Within his Parts Sales Advisor role your typical duties will include:
3. Answering customer calls and responding to inquiries related to vehicle parts availability, compatibility, and pricing.
4. Providing technical support to customers to help them identify the correct part for their vehicle or equipment.
5. Interpreting technical specifications and diagrams to assist customers in selecting the appropriate parts.
6. Creating and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including orders, inquiries, and complaints.
7. Coordinating with suppliers to ensure that parts are available and delivered in a timely manner.
8. Assisting with the processing of orders, including verifying part numbers and pricing, and ensuring that orders are accurate and complete.
9. Troubleshooting problems related to parts orders and working with customers to resolve issues.
10. Providing after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
11. Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide the best service possible.
