Role: Sports Educator
Location: Various locations across Liverpool, Sefton & Knowsley
Contract: 28 hours per week minimum

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and committed Sports Educators to join our team for our upcoming Ultimate Kids Summer Camps. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified coaches, educators, or teaching assistants with a background in physical education or child development to work in a supportive, high-energy environment.

At Ultimate Kids, we have built a trusted reputation across Merseyside for delivering safe, inclusive, and high-quality sports provision for children aged 3 - 11. With over 6 years of consistent delivery, we pride ourselves on creating an environment where every child feels welcome, engaged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Ultimate Kids delivers PE, school sport, physical activity and holiday camps across Merseyside all year round. We partner with primary schools and nurseries to provide consistent, high-quality programmes led by reliable, well-trained staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan & deliver PE aligned to the National Curriculum across EYFS–KS2, creating inclusive, engaging lessons and clubs.
* Safeguard pupil welfare through active supervision, positive behaviour strategies, accurate registers, and clear communication with staff and parents.
* Lead on holiday camps to ensure provision is the best it can be—utilising equipment effectively, championing staff delivery standards, and maximising child engagement.
* (Optional development) Support outreach via tasters, open lessons, and building school relationships.
Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (Sport/PE/Coaching, Education, or Childcare).
* Experience delivering PE or sport in UK primary or nursery settings.
* Strong NCPE knowledge and the ability to plan engaging lessons.
* Confident communicator with children and adults; able to build rapport and manage groups positively.
* Reliable, organised, professional—strong time management and attention to detail.
* Committed to safeguarding (Enhanced DBS required or willing to obtain).
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Team player—shares ideas, takes feedback, supports others.
* Flexible and proactive, able to adapt to different school environments and pupil needs.
* UK Coaching/NGB awards (e.g., FA Level 1/2, Multi‑Skills, Gymnastics, Dance).
* First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.
* Experience with holiday camps or sports events.
* Knowledge of EYFS physical literacy or early years experience.
* Comfortable with digital tools for registers, planning and communication.
