Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
Holidays:
20 days plus 8 bank holidays
We're working with a well-established, independent, family-run garage in Chipping Norton that is looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join their friendly, down-to-earth team.
This is a secure, full-time, permanent role offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact. The business has been proudly serving the local community for over 18 years and is known for its, honest approach to vehicle repair and customer care.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be:
1. Carrying out mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance across all makes and models
2. Diagnosing faults using diagnostic tools and your own experience
3. Completing MOTs (if qualified – not essential)
4. Working closely with the team to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment
5. Supporting and occasionally mentoring apprentices when needed
What We're Looking For
* Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (or equivalent)
* Demonstrable experience on a variety of makes and models
* Full UK driving licence
* MOT licence is desirable but not essential
* Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic
