Base Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 (OTE up to £140,000, uncapped)

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Board, you will play a pivotal role in converting framework access into tangible revenue, strengthening relationships with existing partners, and positioning the business as a preferred delivery partner for large‑scale Net Zero, energy‑efficiency, and social housing projects across the UK. This is a strategic yet hands‑on role, offering a clear pathway to build and lead a high‑performing BD team as growth targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and execute the business development strategy across Tier 1 frameworks, social housing, and local authority partnerships, with a strong focus on Net Zero and sustainability‑driven projects.
* Drive new revenue streams through proactive engagement and relationship building across public sector and major contractor networks.
* Maximise value from existing framework positions and ensure the business remains front‑of‑mind for key opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal delivery teams to produce compelling bids and ensure excellent client outcomes.
* Develop and deliver commercial strategies that align with business objectives and support sustainable growth.
About You
* Proven experience in senior business development roles within construction, social housing, retrofit, or sustainability sectors.
* Strong understanding of public sector procurement, frameworks, and Tier 1 partnership dynamics.
* Demonstrable success in securing high‑value contracts within Net Zero, energy‑efficiency, or decarbonisation programmes.
* Commercially astute with a strategic mindset and strong relationship‑management skills.
* Capable of leading from the front while inspiring and developing a high‑performance BD culture.
