Bennett & Game are pleased to represent a well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy who are looking to bring on a Civil Engineer to undertake work on a variety of drainage-led residential and commercial development projects across the North West of England. The team specialise in the design of foul and surface water systems, SuDS strategies and flood risk assessments, supporting developers in securing planning and technical approvals. Projects range from small infill housing sites to large multi-phase schemes, offering exposure to diverse and technically rewarding drainage design work within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Overview
1. Designing foul and surface water drainage networks in line with local authority and water company standards
2. Preparing detailed SuDS strategies, drainage calculations and flood risk assessments to support planning applications
3. Producing drawings, layouts and technical submissions using AutoCAD and MicroDrainage / Causeway Flow
4. Preparing Section 104, 106 and 185 applications and liaising with relevant authorities for approval
5. Supporting senior engineers with the delivery of drainage and external works packages from concept to completion
