Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, including experience in care homes, nursing homes, and dementia care. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents while managing staff and resources effectively.

Duties

* Lead and manage the daily operations of the care facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of residents.
* Supervise and support nursing staff and caregivers, fostering a positive team environment.
* Ensure that all staff are adequately trained and equipped to provide high-quality care.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and satisfaction to improve service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care and staff performance in accordance with legal requirements.
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for residents.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team through effective leadership and management practices.

Skills

* Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar environment.
* Strong knowledge of dementia care practices and senior care regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Proficient in developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Job Description

We are excited to announce the launch of our brand-new franchise under one of the Top 5 UK home care brands. As part of our expansion, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Care Manager to join our team and help lead our domiciliary care services across Cannock and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Are you ready to enhance people's lives and step into a leadership role within a growing, supportive environment? Whether you are already a Registered Manager or an experienced Assistant Manager or Care Coordinator looking to progress into registration, we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the care sector, including some leadership or supervisory responsibilities, and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care branch, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery
* Lead and support a team of caregivers, coordinators, and supervisors
* Ensure all care services comply with CQC standards and company policies
* Assess client needs, create person-centred care plans, and monitor outcomes
* Drive service growth and reputation, working with senior management to secure private, NHS, and council contracts
* Implement audits, quality controls, and respond to incidents and complaints
* Participate in the on-call rota as required

Requirements

* Minimum 5+ years of experience in the care sector, ideally in a management, coordination, or supervisory role
* Registered Manager status is desirable but not essential – support will be given to the right candidate to apply for CQC registration
* Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Ability to work flexibly, including some weekends
