Overview
Invictus Education Trust – Pedmore High School, Dudley, West Midlands, is recruiting a Lettings Assistant on a casual contract. The role is part-time with flexibility to cover other site staff during absence and holidays, and occasional work during the school day.
Grade 4, Spine Points 5-6. Start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day delivery of Lettings and undertake related general maintenance tasks on the school site, in coordination with the Site Team.
* Assist with letting activities and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for users of the facilities.
Requirements / Skills
* An understanding of sports, leisure/recreation and the associated user groups.
* Polite, friendly, professional, respectful and flexible approach to work; customer-focused.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Flexible regarding working hours with punctuality, excellent attendance and reliability.
* Enthusiastic in promoting standards of Health & Safety and cleanliness within the letting facilities and school site.
* Reliable, punctual and able to adapt to changing working patterns and tasks.
* Observe safe working practices in carrying out duties; be a team player with a personable and emotionally intelligent approach.
* Experience: Previous experience of working in a school or education setting is desirable but not essential.

* This role involves working with/around children and is subject to enhanced DBS checks plus Children’s Barred List check.
* We may carry out online searches on shortlisted candidates as part of our recruitment process as per Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024; findings may be discussed at interview.
* All safeguarding checks must have satisfactory outcomes; otherwise, a conditional job offer may be withdrawn.
