The Role

Due to rapid growth, we are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager (BDM). This is a field-based role, and you need to be in easy reach of Leeds, Manchester & Liverpool or in easy reach of London.


What You\'ll Be Doing

You will play a key role in outreaching across the UK Beauty/Salon, Fitness and Wellness communities to highlight the benefits of Vagaro’s award-winning software. Your primary responsibility will be to win Regional & Mid-Market business in your territory by developing your own pipeline and closing leads generated via various sales and marketing strategies. With in-region presence and perseverance, you will engage with key decision-makers, educate them about Vagaro\'s solutions, and guide them through the sales funnel to achieve a contracted sale.


Compensation Details

* Base: £60,000 - £65,000
* Annual On Target Earning Potential: Up to £100,000


Your Impact

* High levels of cold calling in key towns and cities, building rapport, highlighting Vagaro value, and booking demonstrations.
* Deliver powerful, value-led software demonstrations, moving from opportunity to close.
* Conduct thorough research to identify and qualify Mid-Market clients in the salon, spa, and fitness industry within your sales territory.
* Utilize channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, field days, partner days and networking to generate leads and initiate conversations with prospects.
* Represent Vagaro at trade shows and industry events; build your network, enhance Vagaro\'s reputation, generate leads, provide demonstrations, and win new business.
* Develop a deep understanding of Vagaro\'s products, services, and value proposition to win across competitors.
* Conduct high-volume outreach to engage decision-makers, identify pain points, and assess needs and business challenges.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and progress in Salesforce.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to enhance prospecting strategies.
* Contribute to ongoing improvement of sales processes and messaging.


What You Bring

* Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
* Proven experience (3+ years) in sales winning new business within SaaS/Technology sectors.
* Outstanding track record of winning high-value contracted new business and consistently exceeding targets.
* Passion and understanding of the beauty, wellness, and fitness industry is a plus.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage decision-makers.
* Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and appointment setting; meeting and exceeding targets.
* Strong technical understanding and ability to deliver impactful software demonstrations.
* Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tools such as Outreach, Salesloft or ZoomInfo.
* Results-oriented with a focus on measurable outcomes; collaborative team player.
