Manor Grange Care Home is situated in the charming setting of Pinkhill, providing high-quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 83 residents.
We are looking for a skilled Chef to join our warm and dedicated team, playing a key role in delivering delicious, well-balanced meals that bring comfort and joy to our residents every day.
This is more than just a cooking role. You will help to create a welcoming, homely dining experience that supports the health and wellbeing of each individual in our care. Your culinary skills and commitment to quality will help ensure every meal is something our residents look forward to.
What We Offer:

What You Will Do: You will prepare, cook, and serve hot and cold meals, ensuring they meet dietary needs and preferences. You will work closely with the Head Chef to develop balanced, nutritious menus using fresh ingredients, while keeping to budget.
You will help manage daily kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring all food safety protocols are followed. You will also help with ordering supplies, stock rotation, checking deliveries, and accurate record keeping including fridge and freezer temperatures.
What We’re Looking For: You will ideally hold City & Guilds 706 1 & 2 or equivalent, and have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
You will have a good understanding of food safety and be confident managing a kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Experience working in a care setting or preparing meals for individuals with specific dietary needs is desirable but not essential.
