Our client, a well-established and highly respected volume housebuilder, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their growing team on a large-scale residential development in Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Site Managers and Project Teams, gaining valuable exposure to the delivery of high-quality housing developments while progressing your career within a successful and forward-thinking business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development.Supporting the management of subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times.Monitoring build quality and ensuring homes are delivered to company standards.Assisting with site inspections, snagging, and quality control processes.Helping to manage build programmes and achieve key project milestones.Maintaining site records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.Requirements:
Previous experience working for a residential developer or main contractor.Experience within new-build housing is highly desirable.Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.Excellent communication and organisational skills.SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification preferred.A proactive attitude with a desire to develop into a Site Manager role.What's on Offer:
