Role: Weekend Maintenance role on NIGHTS
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician? Have you completed an accredited apprenticeship and are multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical functions?
You can grow your skills as we place you on an assignment into Caterpillar Articulated Trucks, Peterlee in a challenging and quality driven manufacturing environment.

Working Hours:
36.5hrs (6PM TO 6AM) Friday to Sunday 12 hrs per day
Pay Rates:
Start rate is dependant on experience and qualifications. Opportunities to move through pay grade system which is reviewed every 6 months.
Grade 1 Full Rate -
10. £24.41 per hour // £45,695.52 per annum
M1 Rate -
11. £25.14 per hour // £47,062.08 per annum
M2 Rate -
12. £26.23 per hour // £49,102.56 per annum
Responsibilities:
13. Maintaining equipment and reporting on a computerised maintenance management system (Agility)
14. Responding to equipment breakdowns and completing repairs to equipment
15. Troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions on industrial/paint plant equipment, Automated production lines, robots, lasers, hydraulic presses, DC tooling, AGV's and much more (Ideally, this would include experience with PLC controllers, HMI equipment machinery and building as required)
16. Performing preventative maintenance as per schedules
17. Ordering replacement parts and stocks
18. Adhering to the company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices
19. Adhering to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, and Teamwork
20. Undertaking training/further learning as required
Requirements:
21. Experience relevant to an industrial manufacturing environment
22. Completed an accredited apprenticeship and be multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical functions (electrical preferred)
The site is easily accessible via bus, car and train and is located just off the a19. The nearest bus stop is just outside of the facility and the nearest train station is located at Horden, which is just a 9 minute drive away from the site. With routes from Newcastle, Sunderland, Hartlepool, Durham and Seaham!
