Role: Secondary Maths Teacher
Daily Rate: £160 – £210
Location: Pickering
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Maths Teacher to support pupils within Key Stage 3. The role will run until January 2026 and, alongside Maths, will include some elements of Design Technology and Food Technology on the timetable. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact on young people’s lives.
The successful candidate will bring energy, flexibility, and a nurturing approach. While experience is beneficial, a proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills are equally valued.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stage 3
• Teaching a small number of Design Technology and Food Technology lessons
• Supporting pupils’ progress, confidence, and wellbeing in class
• Building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider school community and ethos
This is a long-term role with the potential to be extended. A supportive team and professional development opportunities are available within the school.
