Job Description
The Financial Accounting team is a global team responsible for the preparation and submission of indirect and direct tax filings, statutory account filings and treasury back office functions. The role will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service delivery in line with agreed timelines.
You must ensure that all company policies are adhered to. You must also ensure that duties are carried out within set time limits whilst providing an excellent level of service to all Informa customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
Accountant is expected to assume some of the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:
1. Ensure all relevant queries are followed up in a timely manner
2. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to a high standard and to deadline
3. Assist with the preparation of EMEA financial statements
4. Assist with the daily and monthly treasury back office processes
5. Assist with preparation of information for internal and external stakeholders on an adhoc basis
6. Assist with adhoc project work as required
Skills & Abilities:
7. Good understanding of all Financial Accounting best practices, people, processes and technology
8. Ability to manage owe deadline and priorities, whilst delivering a high standard of work and supporting junior members when they require assistance.
9. Evidence of making decisions at the right time based on the information available.
10. Good presentation skills
11. Good communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal departments and key contacts
12. Proficient skills in Excel, Word and Outlook are essential
13. Remain approachable under pressure
14. Work as part of a team
15. Ability to complete a variety of related tasks
16. Pro-actively solve problems
17. Excellent customer service skills
18. Good time management skills
19. Ability to be flexible within role
20. Organised, diligent with attention to detail
Qualifications
21. Strong academic background, Accounting degree preferable
22. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) part qualified with only a few exams left to take
