Are you a qualified asbestos operative looking for a new opportunity? Lionsgate Contractors are hiring skilled Asbestos Operatives to start with a valued Client on site in Truro, Cornwall.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct asbestos removal, encapsulation, and abatement work in accordance with health and safety regulations
2. Perform site assessments and prepare work areas for asbestos removal
3. Safely handle and dispose of asbestos-containing materials
4. Use appropriate protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed
6. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project success
Requirements:
7. Valid asbestos operative license and relevant certifications
8. Proven experience in asbestos removal and abatement
9. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to asbestos handling
10. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
11. Good communication and teamwork skills
12. Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments
