We are currently working with a primary school in the Worthing area that is seeking a dedicated Supply Teacher to join their team, covering for staff absences and providing high-quality teaching across various year groups.

About the Role – What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring that pupils remain engaged and make progress during their time in your care. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining classroom routines and supporting the overall wellbeing of the children.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality lessons that align with the school’s curriculum
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
Providing constructive feedback to pupils and teachers on progress
Ensuring that children are engaged, safe, and confident in their learning
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in a primary school setting (desirable)
A flexible, adaptable, and positive approach to teaching
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
