Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Analyst based in the Edinburgh. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and providing actionable insights. Key tasks include gathering and interpreting data, performing statistical analyses, building data models, and preparing detailed reports. The role also involves effectively communicating findings to relevant stakeholders to support decision-making processes and foster data-driven strategies.

- Good Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to support the data led approach
- Stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of data usage and dependencies with wider analytics teams
- Strong SQL coding skills using Snowflake/AWS/GitLab
- Experience of QA & project management/version control documentation
Deliverables/outcomes as follows:
- Data analysis as agreed with key program stakeholders to support E2E workstream
- Creation of cohorts of customer/policy data using bank tools and in line with program requirements
- Creation of analytical insights using bank data and bank tools to help drive strategic decision making within workstream
- Reporting back to NatWest team manager and program project manager on progress against plans as well as threats./opportunities to deliver
- QA of work undertaken by other analysts within the team to support overall delivery within the end to end workstream
