Overview
Join to apply for the Volunteer Criminal Justice Recovery Support role at Change Grow Live.
Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.
As a Criminal Justice Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be. You will be based in the criminal justice team, based in our Hastings or Eastbourne service.
At Change Grow Live you will support people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential. As a Criminal Justice Support Volunteer, you will be working in close collaboration with Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators and Criminal Justice Services. You will be assisting Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators in their caseload management, supporting the service user through their community order or licence conditions. This can include supporting with some assessments, risk management plans, medicals, support in facilitating groups, undertaking one to one work and assisting CJIT workers to collect persons being released from various prisons within a two-hour commute of East Sussex.
This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of working within both the recovery coordinators and criminal justice fields. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role. This is rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the lives of others.
