As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that encourage curiosity about physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global citizenship. This role is suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs, or overseas-trained teachers who are enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the classroom. Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages. Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Assess and monitor students progress and provide constructive feedback. Promote a love of Geography through creative teaching approaches. Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives. Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge in Geography. Experience teaching Geography within a UK or comparable curriculum. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A positive, proactive, and student-centred teaching approach.
