The Opportunity
As a Claims Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals looking to begin a personal injury claim. You'll play a vital role in delivering an excellent customer experience by listening carefully, gathering important information, and helping customers start their claim journey.
This is a fast-paced, telephone-based role where empathy, professionalism and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling inbound and outbound customer calls
* Taking detailed information regarding potential claims
* Assessing claim viability against established criteria
* Accurately updating case management systems
* Supporting customers throughout the initial claims process
* Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth claim progression
* Providing a professional, empathetic and customer-focused service at all times
* Supporting legal teams with administrative tasks where required
What We're Looking For
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English
* Previous experience handling customer calls is essential
* Experience within a fast-paced customer service environment is advantageous
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
* Ability to build rapport and demonstrate empathy with customers
* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
