We are currently recruiting for a Part time Cleaning Operative (General Service Operative) for Stockton Bus Depots for Arriva, and we are looking to hear from candidates who are positive, have a can-do attitude and have ambition to grow. The Role As a Cleaning Operative (GSO), you will play an essential role in ensuring our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include the overall cleanliness of your work site/location: * As a cleaner you are responsible for the overall cleanliness of your assigned area (this could be a bus, or facility cleaning). * This means removal of waste, litter, graffiti, general/specific cleaning tasks to ensure this standard in accordance with job cards (if applicable), supervisor’s and management instructions and operating under Health and Safety guidelines at all times. * Able to recognize and meet required level of hygiene/cleanliness * To deliver high standards of cleanliness and service to all aspects of the business * Maintain professional attitude at all times to clients, coworkers and the general public Essential Requirements * Delivering timely, efficient, and courteous service on customer sites * Willingness and ability to work unsocial hours in line with the late shift.
